Since 2010, UnitedHealthcare has partnered with more than 50 professional athletes in cities across the country and donated more than $1 million to Dreambuilders community projects.

Dreambuilders works directly with UnitedHealthcare representatives in each city to identify the project and beneficiary, and to align a Dreambuilders athlete who shares similar community goals. Dreambuilders coordinates the project from start to finish, working with all the vendors and the school or benefitting organization.

Each project is dedicated with its own special media event, where UnitedHealthcare executives and employees join our athlete in presenting items to the kids or cutting the ribbon on the project. The athlete’s participation provides added media appeal for the event.
